CARAMELLO CHEW RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
125g butter
¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder 
1 king-size block Caramello chocolate, broken in squares


METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 180*c. Line the bottom & sides of a 23cm square tin (or thereabouts) with baking paper. Melt the butter in a pot. Remove from the heat & stir in the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, & mix thoroughly. Add the vanilla, followed by the sifted dry ingredients & stir until well mixed. Stir in the chocolate. Tip into the prepared tin. Bake for about 20 minutes until the batter is just firm. Cut into squares while still warm. Dust with sifted icing sugar. Serve topped with strawberries/raspberries & yoghurt for a festive finish. Enjoy!
